Nadine & Ripley was created for people who know horses are never just horses.

Hi, I'm Nadine

Artist, lifelong horsewoman, and believer in second chances.

I grew up in Germany and now live on a Texas ranch, but the thread running through every chapter of my life has always been the same: horses, art, and the need to create.

What started as painting horses became something bigger, a way to turn emotion, symbolism, and lived experience into art you can wear, display, and hold onto.

My path has not been a straight line. I know what it means to rebuild, to heal, to carry responsibility, to keep dreaming anyway, and to find strength in places that once felt broken. Through every season, horses have been my constant, teaching me patience, honesty, courage, and how to keep showing up.

Every collection begins as original art, inspired by horses, mythology, nature, and transformation. But underneath the color and detail is something deeply human: the desire to feel seen. To wear a piece that reminds you that beauty can come from struggle, that resilience can still be elegant, and that your story matters.

Whether you found me as a horsewoman, an art lover, a mother, a dreamer, a survivor, or simply someone drawn to meaningful things, you're welcome here. If you've ever looked at your horse, or your own life, and felt there was more beneath the surface, then you already understand why I create.

The horses behind the name

Artist, horsewoman, and storyteller shaped by the horses who changed my life.

Nadine & Ripley began with Ripley, the horse who gave this brand its heart and its name. She was more than a horse to me. She was the beginning of a deeper kind of partnership, the kind that teaches you grit, humor, patience, and how to keep showing up.

After Ripley came Oso, steady and soulful. Then Loui, small but unforgettable. Later came Obsidian, my first baby, and with him a whole new chapter began. Each horse brought a different lesson, a different energy, and a different kind of love.

Ripley, Oso, Loui, and Obsidian all came into my life in Colorado, where so much of my foundation was built. The rest of the herd joined later in Texas, where the dream grew bigger and life opened into a new season.

What started as painting horses eventually became something more: a way to turn story, struggle, beauty, resilience, and imagination into artwork people can wear, display, and connect with.

If you have ever loved an animal like family, rebuilt yourself one season at a time, or searched for meaning in the middle of an imperfect life, then you already understand this brand. It is for horse people, art lovers, dreamers, and anyone who knows that the things we survive can become part of what makes us beautiful.
